We were lucky enough to have a chance to stay with Beach Comber Hotels in Trou aux Biches in Mauritius. It's a large 5star hotel in the north of the island.
Trou aux Biches is a beautiful and really big beachfront property, with one of the finest beaches in Mauritius. We stayed there three nights in total, did many water activities such as SUP boarding, wakeboarding, snorkelling and it all was so much fun.
Trou aux Biches Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa offers the widest choice of restaurants in Mauritius with six different venues to choose from. We had a chance to try out the Indian restaurant for dinner. It was really nice, kind of a little journey through Indian cuisine. Fun part was that you could actually go and see through a large window how do the Chefs cook in the kitchen, and the food was really good. We've been to India, and that food was as good as Indian food is, we were blown away.
We all know how amazing are sunsets, so the beach that Trou aux Biches has, is perfect for romantic sunset walks, picnics or just laying on the sun bed. If you have a bigger budget when visiting Mauritius, you should definitely try to stay on of the Beachcomber hotels, it is an Experience.
